40 Day Corporate Fast: Beginning on Ash Wednesday (February 17th) and continuing through Palm Sunday (March 28th) New Horizons Church will participate in a fast. During the fast we will partake of only water, juice, rice, beans, lentils, fruits and vegetables that do not contain any preservatives or additives. We will also be prayerful during this time for our church. Please contact your physician now to confirm that you may participate. SAVE THE DATE: Please join New Beginnings for their 6-Year Birthday Celebration, March 8 – 10, 2010 at 7pm nightly! Featuring two dynamic preachers, Pastor Jeffrey A. Johnson of Eastern Star Church, and Dr. Lance Watson of Saint Paul’s Baptist Church in Richmond, VA. Guest Psalmist will be National Recording Artist, Stephen Hurd!! Please note that we will not have Victory in the Word services on March 9th.
First Impressions Meeting: All new members (people who have joined on or after October 17th) are invited to attend our next First Impressions Meeting scheduled for Saturday, March 13th at 8:30am. The meeting will be held at Eastern Star Church’s Fishers campus. During the meeting you will have an opportunity to fellowship with Pastor Wiggins and receive an overview of New Horizons Church and its’ ministries. If you would like to attend this meeting, please sign-up at the Church Administration table immediately following Sunday's church service or call the church office.
Attention all Teens! There will be a Full Force session on Sunday, March 14th. This month the teens will learn how to be a light of the world.
Ministry Fair! Immediately following the end of service on Sunday, March 21st we will hold a Ministry Fair. Representatives from every ministry at the church will be on hand to answer your questions and share information about their ministry. Be there to learn how you can put your talents to work for God & the church!
“How To Connect People To Christ” God can use you to impact the spiritual lives of your friends and family. Join us on Saturday, March 27th from 8:30am—1:00pm at Eastern Star’s Fishers Campus for the “How To Connect People To Christ seminar, where you’ll learn to naturally and effectively communicate your faith to people you know. It’s an adventure you won’t want to miss any longer! Stop by the Church Administration table after service to register.
The next 4-N-1 New Members class is Saturday, March 27th. Attend from 8:30am - 1pm to complete the entire 4 week class in just one morning! The class will be held at Eastern Star’s Fishers campus. Register at the Church Administration table. If you only need to attend a particular class to complete your training, please review the schedule below and plan to attend just the session(s) you need.

Voter Registration: On Sunday, March 28th the NAACP will sponsor a voter registration drive at New Horizons Church. Stop by the table before or after church to register to vote or to update your address with the Indiana Election Division. The deadline to register for the May Primary election is April 5th. Don’t miss this opportunity to register!
The Men’s Connection is a 24-week study which focuses on the primary issues that shape a man's life, understanding the biblical concept of manhood, and providing practical building blocks for any man to use to construct a more satisfying manhood. All men are invited to participate, and will meet most Thursday mornings at the Fishers campus (8850 E. 106th Street) from 1/14/2010- 3/25/2010. The start time is 6:00am and we will finish at 7:30am. You can register by completing the on-line registration form.
New Discipleship Development Class: On January 3rd we started a new Discipleship Development Class, but it isn't too late to join us. We are studying from the book, “Who is this King of Glory?” by Tony Evans. In this practical, biblically based study, Tony Evans examines Jesus from three different perspectives: His uniqueness, his authority, and our appropriate response to him. Join us each Sunday at 8:30am!
